Finally getting round to do another post, I've been so forgetful lately. I'm sure being ill doesn't help either.
I recently bought Bourjois 123 perfect, I'd find the right foundation for me. Unfortunately I don't think I have, first of all it's much to orange for my skin tone, I apply it and I feel as if I've been tangoed. I bought the lightest shade there is but it was still not right. I remember having this problem many years ago. Does any one else have this problem or is it just me? I also feel this particular foundation doesn't cover enough, i feel the need to add a lot of concealer in certain areas.
I will try and add photos later on.
so it looks as if I'm still on my quest for the right foundation.

you look just like trouble, you're my hero
I've been on the search for the right foundation for my skin for what feels like forever. I started wearing foundation in my first or second year of high school, and now i will not be caught with out it. Yet even after all these years of searching, I'm yet to find one that's right for me. I have a weird skin type so i find it difficult to get it too look right, i find after a while it tends too look at bit patchy and almost dry and flakey [ even if i moisturise and use a primer. ]
I've tried a lot of brands now, such as ones you'd find in most drugstores, and I've tried to branch out a bit and try a more expensive brand, but i had no luck their either. I found the right colour for my skin in the more expensive range, but thats all.
At the moment I'm using Revlon PhotoReady. I find that it doesn't sit that well on my skin, and it tends to make my skin look really dry. I have talked to some other people who have tried it and they had a better experience with it. Thats just my luck I guess.
I'm not sure what foundation I'm going to go for next, but I'm hoping to luck out with it becuase it's my birthday next month. If i manage to get to a bigger shopping center or Town I'm hoping to try a MAC foundation, but that's only if i go away somewhere.

We're the new face of failure.
Vivienne Westwood has recently stated that "people have never looked so ugly."She believes that cheap clothes are a reason for a lack of individuality in fashion. I understand her statement, and see what the message she is trying to get across, but I disagree with this to some extent. Don't get me wrong, I'm a fan off her work and admire her passion, I just believe that what we can buy in high street shops is almost as fashionable as what you can get from designers. These high street shops over the last few years have really changed the boundaries, and stepped up a notch, watching and taking from the latest fashion. No the quality is nowhere near the same, but we get what we are paying for, and in state we are in at the moment money is hard to come by. It's what we do with the clothes we buy, it's how we put our clothes together to create the perfect outfit. In my eyes, lately i have seen a load of different characters using all highstreet brands and creating outfits that frankly astound me. You can just look at all the different bloggers out there and see it awash with individuality and flare. Yet again I have nothing against designer brands, in my head i have a list of items I would buy if I had the pennies, I just believe they are not for every one and that they bring a lifestyle that people aspire towards. I believe we can do a lot with the fashion that is widely available to us, and that we don't have to be ''clones'', but it's up to us ourselves how we throw it together and make our outfit.
